
DACTP Therpist Information
Requirements for Certification as a Primary Therapist in a DACTP:
A Primary Therapist in a DACPT must meet all of the requirements for Primary Therapist in a ITP.
Completed the Upledger CST Diplomate Certification
Completion of a BAES or BAEA class
Completion of a BADA class
Participation in at least 2 prior DAT (DACTP) programs as a Support Therapist
Precept as a Primary Therapist in at least one DAT (DACTP)
Demonstrate the ability to mentor support therapists and facilitate thier contributions to the CTP
Demonstrate the ability to create and maintain a safe and efficient therapeutic space for the client and the therapy team.
Be open to ongoing Peer Assesment, Review and Support.
Requirements for Support Therapists in a DACTP:
A Support Therapists in a DACTP must meet all of the requirements for Support Therapists in a CTP.
And completion of a prior BAE class: BAEC, BAER, BAES or BAEA.
Mintoring in a DACTP is required for new Support Therapist. It has the same format as mintoring in a CTP.
Requirements for Adjunctive Therapist in a DACTP:
An Adjunct Therapist in a DAITP must meet all of the requirements for an Adjunct Therapist in a CTP
And all of the requirements for the Primary Therapist in a DACTP
Requirements and guidelines for ongoing therapist attending a client in a DACTP:
A CST Therapist attending a program with their client may participate as their ongoing therapist.
As the clients Ongoing Therapis your history, role and participation will be respected in our team approach. You may participate in sessions with only your client. If you meet the requirements as a Support or Primary Therapist you may participate as such.
