II Center Facilities
This facility provides for II Admistration, Classes,
Intensive Therapy Programs, and Clinical Services.
It is also an II Community Center.
We are fortunate to have a hot mineral well that feeds our pools and provides for Aquatic Therapies.
In addition to the therapy and classroom spaces,
There are community areas which include a kitchen, dining, bathroom and meeting areas.
There are some sleeping rooms for II staff, teaching assistants, and II community therapists. (Please contact Kat for details and reservations).
Students attending classes and therapists for the CTPs are welcome to use the community areas.
The side yard and hot mineral pools are avalable for use during the class or therapy program days.
There is no charge for this use and we ask that all who use these facilities participate in the cleaning and upkeep of this II Center.

Turtle Back Mountain:
Have you ever seen the turtle? A lot of people simply can’t make it out. How much imagination does this require, anyway? It is visible from almost any point in town, but not completely evident until you see it for the first time. One person we know had an “I See It!” moment in the parking lot of Circle K.
The Turtle is most easily seen in the late afternoon, when the sun lights up the mountain in such a way that you almost(!) can’t miss it.
On maps, this mountain is usually indicated as “Caballo Cone” or “Turtle Mountain” but in T or C, you’d best call it “Turtleback Mountain” around locals — that’s their term for it and they are sticking to it!
Truth or Consequences
New Mexico
Truth or Consequences is a small hot springs town located along the Rio Grande, overlooked by Turtleback Mountain. It has an indigenous history as a place of healing known as Los Palomas "The Doves." This area has fostered and attracted artists,
poets, musicians, therapists, herbalists, organic growers, and many citizens with an interest in a sustainable, ecologically sensitive and healthy existence. The local hot mineral waters serve in this continuing tradition of healing.
