The UI BAE classes and Dolphin programs continue in the tradition of our shared sense of Dr. Upledger's vision for respectful,  free and willing interaction between dolphins and humans with intentions for healing.

The BAE  Class Format:

The BAE class format has the same basic elements for the Bahamas, Turkey, and other locations: 

Introductions and orientation. Setting intentions and committment for open, free and willing interactions with dolphins. Each BAE class includes: A Dolphin Swim, Shared Treatments with Aquatic CST in pools. BioAquatic Therapy in the Ocean. Dolphin Assisted Therapy Sessions.  Meetings for sharing, processing and evolving our relationship with nature and interspecies therapeutics.

UI Prerequisites for BAE Classes:

All the classes starting with "BAE" title have the same basic format and are designed to interface with the Upledger Currriculum. 

BAEI   is Introductory with no prerequisites.

BAEC  requires completion of CSTI

BAES  is open to SER and ADV level students

BAEA  requires completion of ADVI

BAER  is designed to support relationships. A student who has completed SERI or above may be         accompanied by one or two people with whom they are in relationship who many not have CST training.

BADA  requires the completion of ADVI and a  previous BAE class. This class is part of  our  training                program for DAT Therapists.

BAE Ped requires  completion of ADVI and a UI Peds Class

Daily Meetings.

BAER Class Information:

The tropical Bahamian environment with its dolphins and ocean life provide a dynamic, supportive, environment for the healing, unfolding and exploration of our relationships.

 

This is a BAE Shared Connections Class designed to support and enhance our relationships with each other, significant people in our lives, other species and our enviroment.

This class is designed to accommodate UI students  who have completed a minimum or SERI and their accompanying guests.  

This class is for therapists and people with whom they are in relationship who may or may not have any training in CST: spouses, adult children, siblings, business partners,significant others, friends – any adult relationship.

The uniqueness of each individual is accepted and the sessions will only require of your guests that they themselves are accepting and supportive of the other participants.

Accompanying participants need to also be open to receiving gentle therapy and be supportive of others in the water therapy sessions, and be open to class discussions.

There will be no more than twelve participants in this class.

BADA Class Information:

This class focuses on Dolphin Assisted Therapy and its integration with CST. It is also a part of our training program for DAITP Therapists.

This class is open to UI students who have completed SERII and BAES or BAEA 

Registration is limited to twelve participants in this class.

Day to day schedule will vary to include:

Dolphin Assisted Therapy Sessions each day

Incorporation of CST and SER in ocean sessions

Intentional incorporation of the dolphins and environment for mutual healing

Table therapy when appropriate

Discussion and sharing to facilitate therapeutic processing of  the unfolding of our significant experiences

Exploration of possibilities for interspecies; interaction, communication and healing

 

BAEPeds Class Informationand:

This class in Turkey is the first of its kind.  It is being developed by Integrative Intentions in cooperation with Carol McLellen and Barbara Ditrich.  This class is open to UI Stdents who have completed ADVI and at least Peds1.  Registration is limited to 10 students. This class will be taught by Carol Mclellen, Kat and Chas Perrry.  Bartbara Dietrich will have a signeficant role be an associated teacher and adviser.

 

BAE Class Interface with DAITP:

The BAE classes interface with the Dolphin Assisted Integrative Therapy Program (DAITP).

The BAES or BAEA class is required for all Therapists.

The BADA class is recommended for all therapists and is required for the DAITP Primary Therapists.

The DAITP mentoring program is offered and required for first time Support Therapists:

The BAE classes and DAITP are included in the developing theme of EcoSomatics.

These classes are based in the principles and practice of Upledger CST with the integrative intentions of taking into care beings as a whole.  This includes the individual within the environment with other species in a process of co-healing that is ecological, thus the term EcoSomatics.
