UII and Dr. Upledger initiated the Dolphin Education Workshops and UII Dolphin Assisted Therapy Programs in 1995. Dr. Perry was involved from this inception, assisting Dr. Upledger in the teaching and development of these first classes and therapy programs.
In 1998 Dr. Upledger oversaw Chas Perry’s development and implementation of the BAE Classes and facilitation of the DAT programs in the Bahamas.
Since 2000 Chas and Kat Perry have continued the evolution of these classes and dolphin therapy programs by:
Developing the BAER and BADA classes,
Establishing a training program for certifying DAT Therapist
Developing Aquatic and BioAquatic CST,
Engaging the theme of EcoSomatics; exploring interspecies interaction, communication, and healing.
Presenting at conferences.
Commitment to an ethos of interspecies healing.
In 2008 The UII BAE classes and DAT programs were placed under the management of Integrative Intentions (II), with Kat Perry as the UII ombudsman for the BAE Curriculem.
The BAE classes and DAT programs continue to be offered by UII in partnership with II in the Bahamas.
UII-II expanded the BAE curriculum to provide classes in Turkey starting in 2014.
We continue to explore possabilities for programs in Europe, Central and South America, as well as the Carribean.
II conducts these class within the Upledger Paradigm and theme of EcoSomatics. These classes are based in the principles and practice of Upledger CST with the integrative intention, to take into care beings as a whole. This includes the individual within the environment with other species in a process of co-healing that is ecological.
We invite you to participate in these dolphin related classes and programs which provide a unique opportunity for international and interspecies connections, and cooperation; continuing with DR. Upledgers vision for free and willing interactions with dolphins with intentions for healing.
